Your leaflet 'BLOWBACK' was outstanding in the respect: the explicit connection between the Sept 11 attacks and the coldness of the domestic front of the class war. Laying off thousands of workers while getting billions for a bailout might have provoked some kind of outrage or protest during 'peace time', but during a time when the nation has been attacked all Americans are supposed to understand this.
Like the increased surveillance and legal repression that came to us so speedily, these layoffs and bailouts proceeded with such rapidity that it seems clear that the process was in the starting gate, the designers of these policies just waiting for the starting gun.
Almost nobody is making connections between the political policies of the US and the economic policies of American capitalists. Well done.
